Our journey began one scorching June, just two days after moving into our new home. When our AC broke, we called for repairs and quickly felt the pressure to accept high repair costs—all while unpacking in the Texas summer heat. A friend loaned us a couple of portable units, which gave us time to stay cool, compare prices, and save thousands. That experience sparked the idea for Chillax: to help others stay comfortable while avoiding rushed, expensive decisions.
